Autumn Updates 2022
What a fantastic 2022 & first open season we have had here at Hideaway River Farm!
We are immensely grateful for the support given by the local Caplinger Mills community and our guests. We have enjoyed hearing past joyful memories of the property and sharing in the creation of new ones.
That has always been the purpose of HRF and we take great pride in creating the space to nurture amazing memories.
We also want to give a MAJOR thank you to our excellent camp hosts Dave and Linda.
They have gone above and beyond to help HRF grow and make guests feel welcome & a part of the HRF family. We couldn't have done it without them!
We started this year with basically no roads or utilities to our sites and empty cabins. We worked hard to get things going; furnishing cabins, building new roads, installing 11 new riverfront RV sites, preparing our luxury tent sites, remodeling the outhouse, improving our boat launch, and a TON of landscaping and tree trimming.
We could not have done it without the support and encouragement of our guests & local construction crews. THANK YOU!
2023 is sure to be a great year!

Complete bathhouse remodel including showers
Offer watercraft rentals
Offer trips upriver so guests can float down to HRF at their own leisure
Host more events and live music
Complete our luxury tent sites right on the creek!
Begin planting our permaculture food forest
Plan and lay out our market garden beds
Increase internet coverage and speed for guests
Build LOTS of picnic tables
Offer black/grey water pump out service for RV’s not on full hookup
